It Changed Me Forever
Artistic self-expression has been a godsend the past two years as we've navigated the pandemic. A good friend and fellow creative spirit and I created this short to try to capture some of what we and others have been feeling. Enjoy.
In for four, hold for seven, out for eight. Repeat.
Now and again, my body lets me know I need to slow down and practice mindfulness. Granted, it should be a part of my daily routine, but that's easier said than done. On this day, I combined the slowing down with two passions; spending time in nature and capturing its beauty. While taking in this beautiful bird, try practicing the following breathing technique: breath in for four, hold for seven, and breath out for eight. This also works well if you have trouble falling or staying asleep.
